Discover the wonders that surround you!

Living in Ocean Sixteen allows you to get the best of both words, idyllic resort-style living and the advantages of having amazing attractions without having to go very far. Experience miles of sandy beaches along with great nature trails, within a few miles you can find El Yunque Rainforest, the only tropical rain forest in the US National Forest system. The Forest contains hundreds of species of trees, orchids, plants and animals. Take a hike along the trails and enjoy the beautiful melody of the Coquí frogs.

If you feel like spending the day offshore, Marina Puerto del Rey in Fajardo is perfect for you. Puerto Del Rey lies in a beautiful and naturally protected bay. Or if you want to play golf, we have 6 golf courses that will put your skills to the test.

Perfectly situated on the eastern tip of Puerto Rico, the marina is very close to the spectacular islands of Culebra and Vieques; beyond these, lies the British and U.S. Virgin Islands. Puerto Del Rey is also an ideal place to stage longer voyages to the U.S., Bermuda, South America and the Panama Canal.

For a taste of authentic Puerto Rican food you must go to Kioskos de Luquillo, a long row of food shacks right on Route 3, along the beach, where you can find delectably rich local seafood specialties.

Feeling adventurous? Take a night to kayak through Laguna Grande in Fajardo, one of the best-kept bioluminescent bays in the Island. Witness the wonders of hundreds of tiny star-like bioluminescent plankton scintillating like a starry sky as you move through the dark water. For a better experience try to schedule the tour on a moonless night (New Moon phase).

If you want to spend some time in the city, Old San Juan is just a 40-minute ride away from Ocean Sixteen.
